"I have had a few issues with my insurance company now since starting last February, one of the major ones being I would ask to add my truck on my policy and it would never come up on the insurance app. - I called and asked them to add my truck a few times and there just wasn’t coverage for it. I received a call indicating I had a bill due higher than normal yesterday. I checked my app this morning and it said nothing was due. I received a call this morning that I requested, and I was more than willing to pay my bill but I was concerned why it jumped up all of a sudden. The woman I spoke with also didn’t really know and took a pregnant pause, which is fine but then said there was a 20 dollar charge from a late fee. The bill jumped up significantly more than just a 20 dollar late fee. I then received a round about answer to which we both were beginning to get frustrated by. I was then was told by the billing specialist maybe I should “pay my bill on time.” I received no notification that my bill was late until I got a call from this woman. Btw I paid my bill the issue was I was wondering why my bill was much higher with zero notice. I have my car insurance and home owners insurance wrapped up with you guys. I calmly asked to speak to a supervisor several times before we had an escalated conversation and I was told by this woman that you need to speak to me, when I then asked if I could speak to someone else other than her because I knew this was escalating between both of us, I was told it would be a week. I do not know what to do at this point but post on here. There have been more than these instances that miscommunication have happened and it resulted in one of my vehicles not being covered properly, btw this same billing specialist told me my truck never had lapsed insurance / no insurance but the police officer informed us it was lapsed and when I told her that a lady from their department stated we didn’t have insurance and it will take into effect the next day and advised me not to drive the vehicle until we are certain. The response i received from this woman was well they don’t have my screen in a very rude sarcastic tone. I only asked why my bill had changed so drastically and this conversation and shared my frustrations I’ve experienced with this company - myself included escalated into insults and yelling. I was very upset that my simple question resulted in a woman not knowing the answer and then putting me down because she thinks I can’t “ pay my bill on time”"
